The ceaseless fight in court between Bollywood entertainers Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut has been hauled till date. Presently, as per ANI reports, the Mumbai wrongdoing branch's Wrongdoing Insight Unit (CIU) has called Hrithik to show up before them at 11 am on Saturday to record his assertion for a situation he had enrolled against entertainer Kangana Ranaut in 2016. CIU has been exploring the messages trading argument recorded by Hrithik against Kangana. 

In 2016, Hrithik Roshan had documented a grievance to the digital police headquarters in the Bandra-Kurla complex under IPC area 419 (cheating by personation), alongside segment 66C (wholesale fraud) and 66D (cheating by personation utilizing PC assets) of the Data Innovation Act. After this, Kangana hit Hrithik with lawful notification and asserted that the email id was given to her by the Mission Kashmir entertainer and they had been imparting through a similar email id till 2014. Purportedly, the messages were sent in 2013 and 2014.After Ranaut alluded to Hrithik as her senseless ex in 2016, the War entertainer had sent a legitimate notification to the Sovereign entertainer. Hrithik had additionally denied having any sort of relationship with Kangana. The couple had cooperated in the 2010 film'Kites and in the 2013 film Krrish 3. In 2016, Hrithik had asserted that Kangana had been sending him many ludicrous messages. From that point onward, the Digital Cell had gathered Roshan's PC and telephone for additional examination. He had likewise blamed Ranaut for badgering. 

In the wake of presuming that the messages were supposedly sent from Kangana's id, the police had recorded her proclamation following an underlying test. Notwithstanding, the entertainer has denied sending messages to Hrithik. 

In December 2020, on a solicitation made by Roshan's legal counselor Mahesh Jethmalani, the case, which was prior with the Digital Cell of the Mumbai police, was moved to Criminal Knowledge Unit (CIU).
